National Accounts Manager (Remote)

Description

BigIron is seeking an experienced National Accounts Manager to join our team! The role will focus on developing National Accounts with Rental companies, and Transportation dealers and Trucking fleets. The National Accounts Manager is expected to maintain a productive selling relationship to support Big Iron’s offerings with frequent inventory supply of equipment. This is a remote roll that will cover the United States.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new client acquisitions and grow revenue with those companies in the assigned vertical.
  • Create a business contact list to meet the income budget, both regionally and nationally.
  • Establish a marketing and branding plan that includes the target players, value prop, creation of presentations, collateral, and conference recommendations.
  • Own the relationships with large customer accounts that have a national or large regional presence with an emphasis on construction and industrial segment.
  • Prospect for new relationships with targeted National Accounts prospects that deliver recurring annual revenue.
  • Attend national and regional trade shows as needed, with an emphasis on shows leading to new account development.
  • Work directly with and provide regular communication to the sales manager on activities, prospecting, contract status, and overall sales progress within your area of responsibility.
  • Deliver results that reflect profitable revenue growth with both existing and new customers.
  • Provide continuous quality improvement methods to assess market and account growth potential.
  • Possess a ‘Customer First’ mentality and works to establish themselves as the Trusted Advisor in their area of responsibility building strong and lasting relationships.
  • Effectively communicate with prospective customers regarding inventory disposal needs, BigIron solutions & value proposition.
  • Convert prospective accounts within area of responsibility into preferred accounts that generate recurring revenue for BigIron.
  • Willingly completes other duties and takes on special projects as assigned or as necessary.

Requirements
  • Experience in calling on National Accounts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or five (5) plus years of related sales experience.
  • Equipment Industry and/or Construction Equipment experience is strongly preferred.
  • Maintain a valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, CRM and other applications used by the Company.
  • Remote position which will require someone who is self-motivated and can work independently.
  • Experience in customer service (internally and externally) and community engagement.
  • Excellent sales skills and ability to generate revenue.
  • Ability to travel 50-75 percent of the time.
