Job Description:
- Load out crew team members are responsible for the daily movement, sorting, and loading of finish pigs at a variety of locations.
- The load out crew is responsible for the assessment of pig condition; determining if pigs are stressed during the loading process and adjusting to prevent additional stress.
- Team members must be able to move, sort, and load pigs in a gentle manner to minimize stress and injury to pigs, themselves, and others on the team.
- Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Business analysis and planning.
- Development of annual operational targets as well as long range strategic goals.
- Developing and ensuring all communications are coordinated to the respective managers.

- Comply with and enforce all bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies.
Requirements:
- Must be able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently.
- Non-stop walking; a minimum of 8 hours per day.
- Steady balance, agility, and reaching required for sorting and movement of pigs.
- Must be able to lift up to a maximum of 100 pounds consistently, with frequent lifting or carrying of object weighing up to 60 pounds.
- Continuous bending to reach pigs (approximately 300 times per day) for sorting and loading.
- Comply with and enforce all bio-security, safety, and animal welfare policies.
