Description

As an Email Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our email marketing programs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and analytics, to create and execute campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.

 

 Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive email marketing strategies, including promotional, transactional, and lifecycle campaigns.
  • Design and manage email campaign calendars, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Create and oversee the production of engaging email content and designs in collaboration with the creative team.
  • Segment email lists and personalize messages to target specific audiences and improve engagement.
  • Implement A/B testing and other optimization techniques to enhance email performance and conversion rates.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and ROI.
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize email marketing spend and performance based on data-driven analysis.
  • Manage email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp) for campaign setup, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with email marketing regulations (e.g., CAN-SPAM, GDPR) and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to align email campaigns with broader company goals.
  • Evaluate and recommend new email marketing technologies and tools to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to email deliverability and performance.
  • Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to ensure effective execution of email marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on email marketing metrics and insights to stakeholders.
  • Take on additional duties and special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the marketing department.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in email marketing or digital marketing roles.
  • Proven experience with email marketing platforms and CRM systems, HubSpot experience required.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on creativity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience with HTML/CSS for email template customization is a plus.
  • Certification in email marketing or related fields (e.g., HubSpot Email Marketing Certification) is a plus.
