Dietary Aide

Part-Time, 16 hours per week. Assists the cook in preparation and service of meal and food items for patients, visitors and staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Experience in food preparation and sanitation
  • Must possess high standards for food quality
  • Must be courteous to patients, visitors and staff

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and serves meals to patients, visitors and staff according to menus.
  • Maintains responsibility for high quality food preparation, proper food handling and sanitation.
  • Completes assigned cleaning duties and maintains work area and equipment in a sanitary condition.
  • Provide customer service to patients, staff and visitors.
