The HR Assistant is accountable for the general day-to-day operations of human resources, payroll, and benefits in compliance with federal and state laws and regulations. In addition, the areas of recruitment, hiring, performance management, separation, and administrative duties such as answering phone calls and assisting the HR Manager with miscellaneous tasks. This role effectively interacts with company leadership and staff maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.


  • Presenting a positive image of the company to applicants and employees
  • Maintaining employee files and other HR records properly and confidentially
  • Assists with processing new hires and terminations
  • Processing insurance benefits enrollments and changes
  • Assists with planning of company events

Qualified candidates should have proven administrative or assistant experience, excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.  Should be ethical, detail oriented, have excellent communication and people skills and be proficient in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
